Our US MNC client, listed on the NYSE, is a global producer of innovative equipment, specialty systems and value-added services for the industrial products, fluid management, engineered systems and electronic technology markets.  For their business in the Fluid Management segment, they are searching for the right person to join their team in Singapore as

Product Specialist (Pumps)

The Job:

·         Provide support for pumps and metering solutions for the sales team, distribution channel partners and customers with pre-sales activities (such as pump selection and quotations) and field support (including training, sales and service support)

·         Provide support to the sales team with technical back-up in the field, including:

­    Training classes at distribution channel partners or customer’s premise

­    Support Head Office/factory site training

­    Support field service issues for the products

­    Assist factory application engineering with field data

·         Assist in projects or other assignments that will drive product sales

·         Assist Market Segment and Key Account Managers with product support

·         Provide feedback on new opportunities for product expansion

·        Provide feedback to sales on distributor channel’s fit and capability on technical and service competencies

The Person:

·        Minimum Degree in Engineering + 5 years work experience in pumps and metering solutions; those without a degree but a Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Mechantronics or Marine/Shipbuilding) + minimum 8 years work experience in pumps & metering solutions will be considered

·        Must be technologically proficient and posses strong knowledge and understanding of pumps technology and systems application

·         Experience in Technical Sales Support / Application Engineer with ability to communicate technical concepts, architectures and designs, program strategies and tactics clearly

·         A dynamic team member with strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skill, work ethic and commitment to win

·         Willing to travel in the region (for sales/technical support & conduct training and field support) and to the USA (for training)
