Planner cum Buyer

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Update daily and monthly planning reports. Analyze root causes of parts that accounts for low service level
• Process Purchase orders and liaise with suppliers and end-users. Filing of Pos, quotes, contracts and relevant sourcing documents
• Manage forecast accuracy, review safety stock and cautionary parts
• Manage procurement, validating pricing and payment requirements
• Determine optimum stocking level and inventory management
• Responsible for inventory accuracy, physical reconciliation and drive towards optimum inventory entitlement, recommending obsolete and excess inventory for disposition

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Min. Diploma with 2 to 3 years relevant experience
• Manufacturing background preferred
• Meticulous, with strong analytical skills
• Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
• Customer service orientated
